About this event

Meeting Description:

This presentation will provide an update on recent litigation developments affecting ERISA plans, fiduciaries and participants, including cases involving pension risk transfers, plan forfeiture litigation, pension cybersecurity/theft and privacy issues, ESG, and pension benefit misstatements. Kirsten is a plaintiff-side attorney, routinely representing employees and retirees, but in this presentation she will discuss arguments made by both plaintiffs and defendants in these cases, and how courts have ruled on these issues.

She represents employees and retirees in a variety of employee benefit matters under ERISA and government employee benefit programs, including claims for pension, disability, life insurance and severance benefits, breach of fiduciary duty, and related state law negligence claims.
