Presentation Description
Mandatory Roth Catch Up contributions will be effective for the 2026 Plan Year. Join us for a session that will focus on practical systems considerations and give you an action plan to implement the provision.  


Learning objectives

-Review IRS methods for implementing and administering Roth catch up
-Discuss how to coordinate payroll and HRIS systems with your plan’s recordkeeping system
-Determine an action plan and sequencing of tasks for the remainder of 2025 and for 2026

About our Presenters
Virginia Krieger Sutton, QKA, QPFC, Vice President, Retirement Plan PracticeJohnson & Dugan Insurance Services Corporation
Specializing in 401(k) defined contribution plans as a fee-based 3(21) investment advisor, Virginia has helped clients regarding all phases of their qualified retirement programs since 1996. Areas of expertise include investment selection and review, plan design, compliance, vendor assessment, plan conversions, employee education, mergers and acquisitions, and 401(k) issues with globally mobile workforces.


Virginia has her own firm, VKS Consulting, and is the Vice President of Johnson & Dugan’s Retirement Plan Practice. She is an investment advisory representative of Global Retirement Partners. She holds ASPPA’s Qualified 401(k) Administrator (QKA) and Qualified Plan Financial Consultant (QPFC) designation. Virginia graduated with honors from the University of Pennsylvania with a degree in economic history.


Ron Ulrich, CPC, QKA, QPA 
Service Executive, ADP Retirement Services
As a Service Executive for ADP Retirement Services, Ron is responsible for delivering products and services to plan sponsors to help them maintain their retirement plans in compliance with all IRS and DOL regulations. Ron oversees ERISA Consulting, Benefit Payments and Tax Administration for ADP Retirement Services. He is also the Chief Operating Officer of ADP Retirement Trust Services.   


Ron has over 30 years of experience in recordkeeping, service, and administration of retirement plans and holds a B.S in Management from Kean University. In addition, he holds the ASPPA Certified Pension Consultant (CPC), Qualified Pension Administrator (QPA), and Qualified 401(k) Administrator (QKA) designations.
